-教員の授業の参与観察を通して-
This article reveals the features of lectures given by teacher educators at a pre-service teacher education institute in a district of Maharashtra, India. It is based on participant observation at a District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) from 2009-2011. The research classified educators’ attitudes towards lectures into six categories; discipline, belief, dialogue, mood, curriculum and new academic topics. Concerning questions posed by educators in classes there are five types; explanation, confirmation, discussion, questions for thinking, and classes having rare questions. Further qualitative survey is desirable for additional analysis and improvement of elementary teacher education.
