Decision algorithm for the timing of sending a location data on a tracking system

This research reports on a study about algorithms that decide on the timing of the sending current location to a serves on a tracking system via poor quality mobile network. Therefore, four algorithms that focuses on changing course have been studied, and have been simulated using some sampled pathway.
The results are summarized as follows: 1) To accommodate liner and gentle meander path, it is necessary to trigger the timer. 2) In straight and recognizable clearly curve path, the method triggered by course changes is advantageous. 3) When the transmission ratio is more than 10%, the difference between the methods is small.
